Our concept of sustainability

Establishment of a fundamental policy

We established a fundamental policy for sustainability in 2021 to strengthen and accelerate our initiatives toward the realization of a sustainable society. Based on this policy, the entire group will work together more than ever to accelerate our efforts to solve social issues such as the SDGs through innovation, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.

Fundamental policy for sustainability

Daido Group positions the resolution of social issues through innovation as the most important issue for the entire group, and aims to enhance corporate value over the medium to long term by addressing these issues through business activities, while continuing to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Important issues (materiality)

By analyzing and reorganizing DAIDO Group's business activities from the perspectives of ESG (Environment, Society and Governance) and the SDGs etc., we have identified four material issues that are important for us to address for the realization of a sustainable society.

Contribution to a sustainable society via innovation We will position the resolution of SDGs and other social issues through innovation as the most important issue for DAIDO Group, and promote specific initiatives.
Establishment of a sustainable manufacturing system We believe that the reduction of environmental impact in manufacturing is essential to survive as a manufacturing company, and will establish a system to achieve this.
Development of diverse human resources and improvement of job satisfaction We regard human resources as the source of the company's survival and growth, and will develop an environment in which diverse human resources can work with vigor and enthusiasm.
Establishment of foundations for fair, sound and transparent corporate management We believe that fairness, soundness and transparency are essential for corporate management, and will develop a foundation for maintaining and improving these elements.
